Q: Who’s your All Time favorite Band?

Courtlyn: My favorite band is hands down, KISS

Q: Who’s your All Time favorite Singer?

Courtlyn: No doubt, Jim Morrison.

Q: Who’s your All Time favorite Musician?

Courtlyn:  I really like Dave Grohl as an artist.  I dig just about everything he does..

Q:  Who/what would you say is your biggest musical influence? 

Courtlyn:  Kid Rock.  He is able to maintain multi-generational audiences while he produces multi-genre bodies of work.  So talented.

Q: Who is your favorite music teacher?

Courtlyn:  The best teacher I have ever worked with was my keyboard instructor George Mack.  He is the grow up version of me in every way, so he knew just how to push me.

Q:  What is your best “music” memory so far?

Courtlyn:  Definitely my trip to NAAM 2014.  I freaking got to hang out with John Moyer, Kerry King, Brent Hinds, AJ/Omar Vallejo, Cosmic Wolf, Roscoe Beck, and Kyle Gass.

Q:  Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Courtlyn:  Doing the same things as now, only more people will know me!

Q:  What is your favorite non-music related hobby?

Courtlyn:  Baseball

Q  What is your #1 item on your music Bucket List?

Courtlyn:  Fill In for Tommy Thayer with KISS.

Q:  What advice would you give to other young musicians?

Courtlyn:  Success is when preparation meets opportunity…  Always be prepared!
